Flying Start was a Business enterprise competition, in which businessman compete to win £25,000. In 1986 Rochdale Wood took part. Flying Start focused on businesses within the North West, highlighting the importance of increasing jobs and fueling the local ecomomy in the North West region.

Rochdale Wood Products impresses the judges with both quality of product and quality of business to help us win the number 1 slot and top prize.
